The Who and the What
- FlashQArd dot com was founded by Steve Whitlow in 2008. The idea for the flashcards goes back several years. The first version of this is a Yahoo! Widget that I used to study aircraft systems for recurrent flight training. I was never very happy with any of the flash card applications I found online, I wanted something that was very simple and focused simply on question and answer. After seeing some of the programs that existed for the iPhone (none of which use the iPhone interface too well) I decided it was time to resurrect the idea.
